CUB SCORES BIRDIE WITH ITS 6TH ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
CUB hosted its 6th Annual Golf Tournament on October 8 at Sherwood Country Club this year. Thanks to the efforts of this year’s Honoree and CUB Director Roy Salter and the CUB staff, the event was a phenomenal hit and drew support from all over the country. The funds collected are being used to support the projects of 3 highly worthy organizations - the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley, Casa Pacifica and Easter Seals Southern California.
It gives me immense pleasure to announce that with this year’s tournament, we have successfully surpassed the million dollar target that we had set for ourselves. With $315,000 distributed equally among the 3 charities this year, we have attained a record cumulative total of $1 Million that we have given to the beneficiaries of CUB’s annual golf tournament since the bank’s inception seven years ago. This is a testament to the bank’s commitment to keeping its promise to the community of healing and building lives.
As a bank, we strongly believe that part of our mission is to positively influence the communities that we live and work in, and to inspire each other to become the change that we wish to see in the world. Each dollar contributed to the tournament will go towards enriching someone’s life and giving them a better tomorrow.
