President, Selleck Development Group, Inc
Mr. Selleck is a member of the Board of Directors for California United Bank, and is the president of Westlake Village-based Selleck Development Group, Inc. He began his real estate career with Coldwell Banker Commercial Brokerage in 1977 and has been specializing in the development and acquisition of commercial properties ever since. Through various partnerships over the years, Mr. Selleck has successfully completed the development of over 5,000,000 square feet, totaling over a billion dollars. Selleck Development Group is honored to be the second largest commercial real estate Developer as listed in the San Fernando Valley Business Journal for 2009.
Mr. Selleck’s largest and most notable project is the development of the former General Motors Assembly Plant in Van Nuys, California. This 95-acre project known as "The Plant" was one of the largest new developments in the San Fernando Valley in over two decades. He was also involved in the development and management of the Rolling Hills Plaza shopping center and the Torrance Crossroads shopping center, both located in Torrance California. In 2006, Mr. Selleck completed the construction of two office buildings totaling 60,000 square feet that are 100% leased and are located in Agoura Hills, California. Currently, he is developing another 8 acres in Agoura Hills, located along the Ventura Freeway (101 freeway) corridor, as well as an industrial project adjacent to the Van Nuys Airport.
Mr. Selleck shares his experience, knowledge and vision with the business community, and belongs to the Mid-Valley, Agoura/Las Virgenes, and Thousand Oaks/Westlake Chambers of Commerce. A strong believer in giving back to his community, Mr Selleck is a member of the Board of Directors of Casa Pacifica, located in Camarillo as well as the Ventura County Discovery Center. He is also currently a member of the Board of Governors of Sherwood Country Club.
Mr. Selleck has also provided his leadership to numerous civic organizations in the San Fernando Valley region and beyond. In 1998 he traveled to Asia as a part of LA's business delegation with Mayor Richard Riordan. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California and lives in Westlake Village, California with his wife and four children.
